General Mackmyra originally launched in 2016. This snus was made through a collaboration with Swedish Match and the popular Swedish whisky-maker, Mackmyra. The snus was released in two formats: original portion, and loose! Generak Mackmyra was made by Master Blenders from Swedish Match Lars Jonsson and Mattias Schemer and the master blender from Mackmyra, Angela D’Orazio. It is flavored with Mackmyra's flavorful Svensk Ek whisky. This General snus comes in the portion format, but today we’re going to be checking out the loose variant!

The first generation being the loose version, the second generation being the portion format, and the third generation being this new version. The G.3 line as a whole has a wide variety of flavors and variants, but also includes the General flavor in an assortment of formats as well. When this line originally launched, it was during the big nicotine pouch “boom” when every company was rushing to embrace this new, growing category.
