Solid first attempt
As someone that has decided to give my lungs a break from vaping, and I'd rather move towards tobacco free pouches with nicotine to further reduce my harm levels (likely about as dangerous as buying nicotine gum or lozenges), I'm pleased at least ONE company offers one product that is closer to a tobacco flavor than yet another derivative of mint.
The flavor of the Shiro Virginia classic has notes of straw, honey, licorice and an undertone of menthol. Its subtle in flavor, not offensive at least. Its pleasant, and I could use this as my daily driver, but its not as good as it could be.
Shiro gets praise for the mouthfeel of their pouch as it is a good size and stays a good size for the duration of the flavor (30-45 min). Other pouches like Zyn just seem to disintegrate after a short time which turned me off from these types of pouches compared to just a standard General White Snu.
What I really hope is that one of these companies, be it Shiro, General or whoever, decides to partner with popular E-liquid companies to create the flavors. I can only imagine how good a Halo Tribeca or Freedom Smoke flavor in a nicotine pouch like this could be. Especially as the e-cig market begins to shrink due to the realization that its harm reduction isn't quite as reduced as we once thought it was.
