Ferrari Sweet/Salt

Ferrari Söt/Salt (Ferrari Sweet&Salt) is a tasty Danish candy shaped like a Ferrari racing car. The flavor is wonderful with sweet and savory licorice covered in ammonia salt. These gelatin cars are ready to be parked in your pantry but be prepared for them to disappear fast: they’re really yummy.

Ferrari cars have been popular for a long time, and there are different flavors of them to make sure that there is a Toms Ferrari car for everyone. This version of Ferrari candy cars was made for the licorice lovers that like both sweet and savory. The surface of the candy is hard to the tough, but it is easy to bite through to taste the sensational licorice that is hidden inside.

Toms was founded in 1924 by Trojel and Meyer, but times were hard in Denmark after the first world war, even though they declared neutrality. Materials for candy production were difficult to produce. The company became really successful in the 1940s, with the help of new a new owner - Victor B.Strand.
